FAGOR GROUP
Who are we?
We are the largest industrial cooperative group in the Basque Country and offer technologically advanced solutions to customers all over the world. Our philosophy is based on a democratic model of how to understand and run a company. The eight cooperatives that make up the group are benchmarks in their respective industries.
We are a cooperative
We are the origin of the cooperative group currently known as the MONDRAGON Group. Ours were the first cooperatives that were formed in 1957 as a result of Arizmendiarrieta’s initiative.

OFFICES
As well as overseeing the governance of the group and the inter-cooperation mechanisms, we also develop different areas of cooperation in collaboration with the cooperatives themselves.
Social COMMITMENT
Through the Gizabidea Foundation, we support the development of educational infrastructures in our local area.
Through the Debagoiena 2030 cooperative network for sustainable development, we contribute to transforming our region.
Through the Mundukide Foundation, we provide aid and support to developing countries.
We work to open up new pathways
for the Basque language
For over two decades now, we have been working hard to promote the use of the Basque language in the working environment. We develop Basque language plans and projects adapted to each context and each moment. Our work in this field has earned us a number of accolades, including the Abbadia Prize 2021, awarded by the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council.
